10 Things I’m Looking Forward to in the Spring:
March 11th, 2008 . by JoyceThe Ten on Tuesday prompt for this week is: 10 Things You’re Looking Forward to This Spring.
- Smelling the fragrance of newly-mown grass
- Seeing ducklings in the local wetlands
- Noticing Forsythia in bloom (any day now!)
- Daffodils and crocus blooming in the flowerbeds
- Seeing varieties of birds who’ve been gone over winter
- Increasingly more hours of sunlight each day
- Hearing the little frogs chirruping
- Planting some broccoli, zucchini, leeks and carrots, once the soil warms up a bit more
- Watching my daughter play soccer with the Middle School team
- Making plans for our annual trip to Northern California. It would be fun to travel down 101, and stay in a yurt on the beach for one or two nights, like we did last year.

Great picture! You must have a really good zoom on the new camera–who took this one?
Those are all really good things to look forward to. Isn’t spring great?
My friend Trish does this Meme too. I didn’t realize that there’s a prompt. That Photo Hunter thing that I’m doing now does too.
laura’s last blog post..Teething Time
Dad took this photo last year when the old camera was still working.
I just love hearing the tap-tap-tap of the woodpeckers.
