This week for Thursday Thirteen
I present you with thirteen ingredients I enjoy in a salad:
- Lettuce (usually sliced iceberg or Romaine lettuce)
- Sliced pickled beets
- Kirkland solid white albacore tuna (from Costco; I’m a tuna snob; if it looks and smells like cat food, I would rather not eat it.)
- Kalamata olives
- A few crumbled saltine crackers
- Grape tomatoes (They’re sweet!)
- Cooked, cold petite green peas
- Gregg’s Savory Ranch dressing (my favorite)
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Cucumber chips (pickles)
- Hard-cooked eggs
- Left-over broccoli salad
- Left-over cole slaw
The last three ingredients are once-in-a-while ingredients. The others are usual.
