I have been blessed with life for over half a century (eeeeek!), a fact of which dear family and friends are reminding me today. For the cute e cards, paper cards, gifts (which I haven’t opened yet; I’m being good!), and cheery greetings, I say, THANK YOU!
For your amusement, I’m sharing a few old photos with you this morning:
I am the tall girl wearing the yellow top. The elderly folks in the same row as me are my Gramma and Grampa Lee, my mom’s mom and dad. They lived in Phoenix, Arizona, and we visited them every Sunday after going to church.
In this photo, left to right, back row: me, my mom’s brother David, my mom, and my sister Carol; in front are the boys, John, Mike, and Gene
This photo of my mom and me (4 or 5 years old) was taken in Flagstaff, Arizona, I place I enjoyed living so much. I was born in Phoenix, so Flagstaff was my first exposure to seasonal change. It was there that I decided upon AUTUMN as my favorite season of the year.
My mom’s writing on the back of this photo tells me I was about one year old in this photo taken with my Grandfather Schmitz. Again, this was in Phoenix, Arizona.

Happy Birthday. Hugs and best wishes that you enjoy every minute of it.
Thank you all so much for your birthday greetings! 🙂 It was such a fun day. I’ll post pictures of some of the presents today if I get the opportunity. Busy day ahead.
Have a good day all!
