Circle of Influence

There is a new poetry group starting up called One Single Impression. The prompt this week is: CIRCLE. Here is what came to mind:
Not famous, not rich,
My sphere of influence small
Yet I may reach out.
Love my family,
Then neighbors, community,
The circle widens.
Who is my neighbor?
Love will find a way to help
When help is needed.

Ah … how cool that you’re participating in One Single Impression!!! I’ve not checked the site yet to see the new prompt, and now I won’t need to until I write and publish mine because I see that it’s ‘circle.’ As you know, I’ve done the first two at Sacred Ruminations and am considering doubling up … as I do for Haiku Fridays by publishing on both sites, but I’ve not managed that yet.
I love your Haiku series … and the graphic! They’re wonderful.
