Five Things I Will Be Intentional About This Week

Five Things I Will Be Intentional About This Week (Give Me Five Monday
prompt):

  • Even if I’m occupied doing something, I’ve been making a deliberate effort to STOP, turn and make eye contact when someone speaks to me.
  • I’m putting time with my children and husband ABOVE relaxation time at the computer. Yes; the children are teenagers, occupied with their own interests, but I want them to know, in a tangible way, that I’m interested in them.
  • I’ve been making a real effort to serve interesting, nutritious meals even during the busy school year. I intend to do that this week also.
  • Rebecca and Lydia have two home soccer games this week. I intend to attend their Thursday game, since I can’t make the Tuesday game.
  • I intend to attend Seth’s 7th grade football game Tuesday evening. Really, attending the children’s after-school games takes lots of intending, because it interferes with the yummy meal intention. Oh, well. I’m putting the games first this week.

Would you like to join in also? Here are the instructions from Becca, the hostess of Give Me Five Monday:
The ‘Give Me Five’ Monday meme is designed to share fun information with each other in a simple short list! Here’s how it works. Each week, I will put out a random topic from my list of topics and you share 5 answers of your choice on the given topic and link back here! You can add photos, links or stories or just a simple list of your own of 5 things that relate to the topic as it pertains to you and your life experiences. It doesn’t have to be in any order of importance unless otherwise specified.

Sound like you have a busy schedule. Don’t forget to spend some time on your needs as well….
    Have a great day

Thanks, everyone, for your comments. 🙂
The Beef Stroganoff dinner turned out well, even though it was a squeeze, time-wise.
Rick made it to Seth’s game (Seth did well!), while I stayed home and cooked.
Today I need to bake a big pan of apple crisp for Family Night at church. 🙂
