Five Things I Will Be Intentional About This Week (Give Me Five Monday
prompt):

• Even if I’m occupied doing something, I’ve been making a deliberate effort to STOP, turn and make eye contact when someone speaks to me.
  
• I’m putting time with my children and husband ABOVE relaxation time at the computer. Yes; the children are teenagers, occupied with their own interests, but I want them to know, in a tangible way, that I’m interested in them.
  
• I’ve been making a real effort to serve interesting, nutritious meals even during the busy school year. I intend to do that this week also.
  
• Rebecca and Lydia have two home soccer games this week. I intend to attend their Thursday game, since I can’t make the Tuesday game.
  
• I intend to attend Seth’s 7^th grade football game Tuesday evening. Really, attending the children’s after-school games takes lots of intending, because it interferes with the yummy meal intention. Oh, well. I’m putting the games first this week.
