   I’ve never seen the colors here that we used to get in Washington skies. Maybe I’m not up at the right hours.

   Thanks, All, for your comments. This photo is of the Sumas River, which we think of as more of a creek. The river runs back and forth all through our neighborhood. When they were younger, the children spent many happy hours during the summer getting silty and suntanned in the river.
