My theme for this Haiku Friday is BLOGGING, and the friendships that are a welcome by-product of that activity.
The world is smaller
Or, my neighborhood’s larger
Internet friendships
Before busy-ness
A moment to read your blog
How’s your day going?
Virtual visit
We’re perhaps nations apart,
Yet friendly neighbors
It does my heart good
You share your story, your thoughts,
I care, kindred soul
Creative outlet
This is my avocation
Writing for the world
I send forth my thoughts
Summations of golden days
Will they cheer or help?

I am especially fond of the “creative outlet” one. Thank you for sharing.
So true! Great haiku! I love these virtual visits, I can show up at any time…day or night!
so incredibly true. the “friendships” made, through blogging, with people you would have no other way of knowing!
great haiku!
I love my bloggy friendships, too. I think bloggers know more about me than my real life friends do…
True! Great ku! I like blogging for the friends, too!
Thank you, Ki, Jennifer, Melissa, AngloFF, and Toni, for your kind comments. I responded back at your blogs. 🙂 My husband just mentioned that NOW would be a good time to get some REAL work done around the house, so I’m off!
