Haiku Fridays

As my inspiration this Haiku Friday, I’m taking these verses from
Proverbs 31:10-12:

10 Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.

11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

Haiku Friday

Now, here are three little Haiku poems, one for each verse:

Woman of virtue,

Precious and hidden jewel.

Where may she be found?

The one who loves her

Knows he may always trust her.

This man is wealthy.

All her life, daily,

Works of kindness, gentle, good,

She gives her husband.

You are so clever and positive Mama!

I really like Haiku Friday! I may have to join in if I get an artistic inspiration by next Friday……or then again, maybe not, since I have a bee in my bonnet to clean and organize the basement and make a sewing/crafts/music room more efficient! Hey, that’s being Proverbs 31-ish, isn’t it? Hopefully one day I’ll join you in Haiku-ing.

    Hi, Marmee,
Yes, that is very Proverbs 31-ish. Cleaning and organizing is great. I feel so much more at ease with things organized, no so “at loose ends”. Today I had to run a lot of errands, and if it weren’t for my helpful young people, I would be very much at loose ends. See you tomorrow!
