Have you ever heard of a lap book?
October 27th, 2007 . by JoyceOne of my favorite home school bloggers has done a “show and tell” of a Thanksgiving lap book that she and her young daughter created together. The result was a beautiful keepsake. Additionally, each time the child looks through the book, learning is reinforced. Wow!
Whether or not you home school your children, you will want to make some of these books!
I love lapbooks! I just wish I would have discovered them earlier so both kiddos could have fun with them. Only DD#2 gets to benefit from them, we are doing Apologia Botany (by Fulbright) and there is a lapbook kit that goes with it that I bought from Rainbow. Fun Stuff. Makes all those dry terms a little more bearable.
