Laughter Haiku

We pose carefully
For this family portrait;
Off dashes Baby.
Our goal forgotten;
Surprised by young energy,
Joyous laughter comes.
The haiku-writing prompt given this week at One Single Impression was LAUGHTER. This old family photo captures LAUGHTER for me, and is my inspiration for this week’s haiku.
What a beautiful family… and a perfect photo for your delightful haikus. And I laughed… perfect.
