Well, here I am talking about movies, when I just said yesterday that I would rather read a good book than watch a good movie (or rather it was reread a good book vs. watch a movie again). Well, I want to play along with Ten on Tuesday, and I might watch some of these once. 🙂
1. Iron Man – My girls loved this one, so I would like to see it as well.
2. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull – My kids have watched all the prior Indiana Jones films (more than once), so this one is one we definitely plan to see.
3. Kung Fu Panda – Animation and Kung Fu sounds like a good combo to me.
4. Get Smart – I really enjoyed The Man Who Knew Too Little with Bill Murray. Maxwell Smart is THAT kind of spy.
5. Nim’s Island – My children have already seen this movie as well, and say that I would LOVE it. Hmmm . . . It’s probably too tame for the man of the family, but maybe on date night?
6. The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian – Reports from friends have been enthusiastic on this one as well.
7. The Incredible Hulk – If I end up being the driver, I’ll see this one, since my kiddos really enjoy the superhero movies. What’s not to love about the Hulk, anyhow?
8. Wall*E – Of course I want to see an animated Walt Disney film!
9. Journey to the Center of the Earth – I do enjoy the fantasy genre, plus read the book as a kid.
10. National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets – We all enjoyed the first film so much, so I’d like to see this on DVD (Which brings me to a dilemma: our DVD player is just about worn out. My 12-year old son tells me that Blue Ray is the way things are going to be from now on. What type of player do you recommend?)
