Ten Simple Things that Make me Happy

The question this week at Ten on Tuesday
is: What are 10 simple things that make you happy?
- Fresh sheets on the bed, with a little spray of “Sleep” from Bath and Body Works. It is a relaxing vanilla/lavender scent.
- The first cup of coffee in the morning, strong and hot.
- Getting a really good dinner on the table that everyone enjoys.
- Playing board and card games with the children.
- Taking the old doggie for a daily walk.
- Our daily times of reading the Bible together as a family, and singing a psalm.
- Checking my email and Facebook.
- Doing a blog post.
- Baking bread.
- Going shopping with my daughters.

Wonderful list here … I’m with you on smell of coffee brewing and the 1st cup of the morning … and the twice daily walk with Molly. It’s been YEARS since I’ve played cards with anyone, but the thought conjures up wonderful old family memories … so does the daily reading of the Bible as a family.

Wow Joyce, I have so many from this list in common with you! I too LOVE fresh clean sheets (every Friday around here). The first cup of coffee is always the best, and playing games is a favorite here too.
Which reminds me to ask you, does Sarah & Justin enjoy playing games? I love to give games as wedding gifts.

What a wonderful list! That first cup of coffee in the morning is such a simple thing that makes a big difference in the day. Often we take it for granted until we wake up to find the electricity is out! LOL
