Mom’s Musings

I have been tagged by Laura and Holly to write my List of 4’s. Here they are:

4 jobs I’ve had:

1. vitamin factory worker
2. seamstress of hand-made, embroidered peasant blouses
3. secretary/technical typist for an accounting firm
4. homeschool mom (my favorite!)

4 movies I could watch over and over:

1. wholesome
2. funny
3. kid movies (no violence or sexual innuendo)
4. anything adapted from Jane Austen’s books

4 places I’ve lived:

1. Phoenix, Arizona (I was born there, as were my brothers and sister)
2. Campbell, California
3. Portland, Oregon
4. Everson, Washington

4 websites I visit daily:

1. gmail
2. my children’s
3. Ginny’s
4. often – Blue Letter Bible
   

4 of my favorite foods:

1. homemade bread
2. homemade soups, such as Cheddar Chowder
3. Mexican food (I grew up on this in Arizona.)
4. East Indian food (I can’t tell you why I enjoy this spicy food so much!)

4 places I would like to visit some day (I don’t want to say that I would rather be right now):

1. Brattleboro, Vermont, where Laura and Darren live
2. Hawaii with my husband for some wedding anniversary or another (only because he wants to go there! :P)
3. Inverness, California, where my in-laws live (We go there every-other year. In my opinion, this is the most beautiful place in all of California.)
4. Anywhere and everywhere homes have been built which my husband designed.

4 of my favorite things to do:

1. work at home, doing my domestic duties
2. run errands, grabbing a latte while I’m out 🙂
3. go for a walk
4. study at Bellingham Technical College part time (I’m working to be certified as a paraeducator.)

4 of my favorite books:

2. Positive Discipline by Jane Nelsen
3. YOU the Owner’s Manual by Michael Roizen, M.D. and Mehmet Oz, M.D.
4. Wholesome, edifying children’s books and beautifully illustrated children’s books
