The United Reformed Church Takes a Stand Against the Federal Vision Error

I am a regular reader of Dr. R. Scott Clark’s blog. Dr. Clark is Associate Professor of Historical and Systematic Theology at Westminster Seminary, California. He is also one of the pastors at the Oceanside, CA United Reformed Church.

Much of what Dr. Clark posts on his blog, the Heidelblog, are lessons on the Heidelberg Catechism. Using the long-time confessions of the reformed churches, such as the Heidelberg Catechism and the Westminster Catechisms, Dr. Clark has for some time been alerting the readers to the errors of a current movement called the Federal Vision.

He reports on his blog that THE NINE POINTS OF (URCNA) SYNOD (SCHEREVILLE) 2007 speak against the errors of this system. If you wish to read these nine points, they are available here.
