Thirteen Ways We Enjoy Apples

This week I’m doing a last-minute Thursday 13
post on thirteen ways we enjoy APPLES:

  • Fresh off the tree, after the first frost of autumn. Fujis are my favorite variety.
  • Sliced, with cheese or peanut butter.
  • Diced, cooked in oatmeal.
  • As an ingredient in muffins.
  • Fresh apple cake.
  • Applesauce, especially homemade and chunky (yum!)
  • Applesauce cake.
  • Apple dumplings.
  • Apple crisp.
  • Apple pie.
  • Caramel apples (very rarely)
  • Baked apples.
  • Waldorf salad.
