I have fond memories of Wise Words from when the kids were little. I LOVED that book!
The Plantinga book looks really interesting, especially since I’ve been a part of four different congregations, all with different worship styles in my lifetime. Thanks for all the great suggestions for recipes, games, and books!
Thank you, Marmee, for the kind offer of lending me your book that you sent by email. I’m so looking forward to beginning it!
Yes, Kathie, I’m looking forward to reading the book by Plantinga, too. What an interesting ecclesiastical background you have.
Hi Joyce,
Anything by D.G. Hart is good. “Secular Faith” is excellent, as are “Recovering Mother Kirk” and “With Reverence and Awe,” which are both books on worship.
Thank you, Pastor Kevin, for the further book recommendations.
