Wordful Wednesday is hosted by Angie at SevEn cLoWn CirCuS
The other night, at dinner, we were minding our own business, eating and talking about this and that when, all of a sudden, silliness descended upon us. I can’t remember exactly how the conversation began, but by the time it was over, all of us had received fairy tale nicknames.
Here’s what we came up with:
- My husband :: Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The Specifically Non-Lion King
- Me::Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Fairy Godmother
- Laura (our married daughter):: Â Â Â Â Beauty (Uh-oh! Then who’s the Beast?)
- Diederick (our 2-year old grandson):: Goldilocks the Little Bear
- Carly (our 5-month old granddaughter):: Sleeping Beauty Baby
- Rebecca (our 16-year old daughter):: Dragon (think Donkey’s girlfriend)
- Lydia (our 15-year old daughter)::Â Â Â Â Mushu the Dragon
- Seth (our 12-year old son)::Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The Handsome Prince/The Beanstalk (it was a tie)
- Lassie (our old doggie)::Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Noble Steed (of Shrek fame)

That is soooo funny. Some of our best memories come out of nowhere and that’s a good one:-)
too much fun!!!!!!
ok…we might have the same silly food here because we did thhis a few weeks ago. maybe it’s in the green beans or something! so stinking cute!
That sounds like a fun conversation! How funny!
Spontaneous silliness. Always good fun. 🙂
I love the pictures! We always try to figure out which Winnie-the Pooh character each person is-but we’ve never quite taken it that far! 🙂
I’m so glad that other people have silly conversations, too. My daughter assures me that no other family she’s ever visited acts and talks like ours. But what memories we have…
